Technical SEO services in the UK

Technical SEO decides whether search engines can find, understand and index your pages. When it’s wrong, even the best content won’t perform, and it’s often fixed in the code.

We start with your data, not a generic checklist. Search Console’s Page indexing report shows which pages Google has chosen not to index, and why. Server logs reveal what crawlers actually request, which can be very different from what you’d expect. Plenty of tools will flag thousands of “issues” that have no real effect. Part of the job is knowing which ones matter.

The issues with the biggest impact tend to be structural. Duplicate URLs split your signals across faceted navigation, tracking parameters and old domains. JavaScript can hide content from crawlers if it isn’t rendered properly. Important pages sit many clicks from the homepage with few internal links. Canonical tags point the wrong way. A bad robots.txt rule can quietly remove an entire section from search.

Fixing it, rather than reporting it

Because our team builds software for a living, we can change the templates, fix the redirects and write the structured data, instead of handing your developers a list to squeeze into their sprint. If you have your own development team, we’ll write clear tickets and review the results. For a one-off review, see SEO audits.

Technical SEO questions

What’s the difference between technical SEO and an SEO audit?
An audit is a one-off diagnosis. Technical SEO is the continued work of fixing those issues and making sure new ones don’t get introduced.
Does structured data improve rankings?
Not directly. It helps search engines understand your content and can make you eligible for certain rich results. Some types have been withdrawn, including FAQ rich results in 2026, so it’s worth being selective.
Do you need access to our code?
It helps if we’re making the changes. Otherwise, we can work with your developers, using detailed tickets and reviews.
