Shopify development agency in London

Shopify handles the hard parts of running a store. Our job is to make yours stand out and connect it to the rest of your business, without burying it under apps.

Each app you install tends to add scripts, a monthly fee and something else that can break. Stores often end up with dozens of them, doing overlapping jobs and slowing down every page. A good Shopify build uses Online Store 2.0 theme sections and metafields to cover much of what would otherwise need an app, then adds a carefully chosen few for what’s left.

We build custom themes on Dawn or from scratch, depending on how different the store needs to be, so that your team can rearrange pages and launch campaigns without calling a developer. When something can’t be done with a theme, a small private app is often the cleanest answer, and it can connect Shopify to your warehouse, ERP or courier.

Shopify Plus: is it worth it?

Plus is priced for larger merchants, so it needs to justify itself. It generally makes sense if you need B2B features, more checkout customisation, multiple expansion stores for international sales, or higher API limits. Plenty of stores doing good volume are well served by the standard plans, and we’ll tell you if yours is one of them. Compare your options in our Shopify vs WooCommerce guide.

Shopify questions

Do we need Shopify Plus?
Not necessarily. It tends to be justified by B2B needs, checkout customisation, multiple stores or high volume. We’d look at what you actually need before suggesting the upgrade.
Can you improve the speed of our Shopify store?
Usually. Removing unneeded apps, slimming down the theme and sorting out images makes a noticeable difference, and much of it doesn’t need a rebuild.
Can you migrate us from another platform?
Yes. We move products, customers and order history where it’s possible, and map URLs to protect your search traffic.
